Race Report: Kentucky Off Road Hare Scrambles Series (KORHS) - Round 10
Rider: David McWilliams - Bike 9th Place Overall and 5th Place Heavy A
Bike: Suzuki RMZ450 #5

Not a good start off the line... The new 450 didn't start on the 1st kick when the flag dropped.... But started 4 times before that when I was practicing! Loved the 450 tractor power most in the corners and in the single track greasy rocks . . . but wished I had the 2-stroke in the fast hammer down sections of the course! Big weight difference in throwing the 4-stroke vs. th 2-stroke around!

Battled with Harvey Whitaker a couple laps passing each other / taking different lines. Following Harvey I made a pass on him entering the single track as I picked a better line or possibly shut him down going into the single track and I took the lead . . .( well not the lead in my class, the lead between Harvey and I ). Leading us a lap as we come to a hill climb, I roll up on a lapper and as he looked back while I approached him, he crossed over into my line and we hit and crashed . . . Harvey sneaks on by and at that point, I could not catch him.

All in all, I loved the course and had a great time racing with everyone this year. I look forward to next year and more great places to ride! You all are COOL and are like family!
