Race Report:
Kentucky Off Road Hare Scrambles Series (KORHS) - Round 6 After having a late start (I was 2nd off of the line), about 2.5 miles
in, we had a bottleneck at a creek crossing that lost the “A” Class
a good 30 seconds. I was the first one out of the bottleneck with
Justin Wright right behind me. It was all smooth until we hit the
4 mile marker,
it was like someone turned out the lights. We get to the end of the
creek and we created another bottleneck. At this point no one is
having any luck.
Luckily I was the first one to get my quad out of the mud. Jacob
Yates gave me a battle through the rocks and I held on to stay in
front. As for me, it looks like we will have some time off before Mt. Sterling. There will be the Mid-South race at Luka, MS then they have like a month off. I would like to thank the people at Hyden for letting us use the trail! Jody Estes |
